Ingredients | Unleavened Bread Bible1 cup cornmeal1 cup all-purpose flour¼ cup white sugar1 teaspoon salt1 egg¼ cup shortening, melted1 cup milkDirectionsPreheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a 12 cup muffin pan or line with muffin papers.In a large bowl, stir together the cornmeal, flour, sugar and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the egg, shortening and milk. Stir until well blended.
